

Micaelle Guirand Titus
Micaelle Guirand Titus is a Veteran of the United States Army with an honorable discharge of serving her country. She has worked in the health arena for over a decade with eight years of that time spent with The Florida Department of Health in Miami Dade-County (FDOH) as the Surveillance Manager, Minority AIDS Coordinator, and Disease Intervention Specialist. As a FDOH staff, Ms. Titus oversaw the STD Surveillance Department for the entire Miami-Dade County. She was also instrumental in organizing large health awareness events that reached hundreds. One of these events was recognized with a Proclamation from the City of North Miami, signed by Mayor Andre Pierre. Ms. Titus holds a Health Service Administration degree from Barry University and continues to further her education in the Public Health field at Florida International University. As a notable Health Advocate, Ms. Titus is helping to educate individuals most at risk for health disparities and bringing awareness to the lack of health equity in our community for women of color …
