Resources and Assistance Initiatives.
We offer an outreach and screening program that consist of free blood pressure check, HIV testing, glucose and cholesterol screenings. We also organize a female peer-to-peer supportive group for health promotion & disease prevention and to provide support through difficult life circumstances. Our teen health and empowerment program is very effective in reaching our youth and provides health education and activities to keep students off the streets. We continue to provide our food distribution program for the homeless & those in need which serves hundreds. We organize monthly/quarterly health seminars, health fairs and health conferences. We are able to do our work through the support of our partners, volunteers and internship program with nursing, public health and social worker students.
